Welcome to Polotype. Here you’ll find letters, words, and type, illustrated. ¶ Antony Hare is an illustrator whose work regularly appears in Esquire, BC Business, and Maisonneuve. His work has also been published in The New Yorker, Boston, Toronto Life, Forbes, and Fortune. He’s illustrated for the Globe & Mail and the National Post. Working primarily in black and white, Antony illustrates at the meeting point between portraiture and caricature. In addition to his portrait work, he illustrates letters and words as Polotype and food and drink under the Le Gastro label.
